So this is the page I get to blab on and on about myself.

So let's see now. The basics. I was born on March 31, 1981, I share my birthday with my mom. I was raised in Haddon Township, NJ. I went to Haddon Twp High School and graduated from there in 1999.

Then it was off to Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where I majored in Computer Science. At my time at Drexel I was involved in a number of extra-curricular activities. I held the positions of President, Vice-President, and Law and Policy Officer for the Math and Computer Science Society which was also the Drexel University Student Chapter of the ACM. I also held Secretary for the Drexel Habitat for Humanity Chapter. I also joined the Alpha Chi Rho fraterntiy while at Drexel. In the fraternity I held the Technology Chair position for 2 years and developed version 2 of the website (the website is now on incarnation 3). AXP was a great time and I met my current roomates while involved in Alpha Chi Rho. I wrapped up Drexel in 2004.

In June 2004 I found my first full-time job in programming outside of Drexel and it's co-ops. I was a Java/JSP developer for ATX Communications in King of Prussia (about 20 minutes outside Philadelphia). I worked there until January 2005 at which point they laid-off half of the IT department and I was one of the many people they let go.

I then did a quick contracting job for Consolidated Services Group where I developed web applications for them. Soon, however that contract was over and I joined the unemployed crowd once again. However, it wasn't long until I joined the crew at HomeNet. At HomeNet I was "the web guy". I was tasked with creating and maintaining all of HomeNets websites (client and internal) as well as their pluggable inventory modules known as "backwebs". Unfortunately being the only developer handling this I increasingly found myself overwhelmed. It was in March 2007 while on a vacation in Spain that I was contacted by a head-hunter trying to match me up with another web development company. After interviewing with them and hearing their salary offer was MUCH, MUCH more than I was making at HomeNet (and HomeNet not willing to match the increase) I left HomeNet and joined GSI Commerce.

When it comes to interests, obviously computers and internet technology rank at the top. I'm always looking to learn about the latest web technologies. When I'm not filling my brain with techy stuff I'm usually either hanging out with friends in Philly or glued to Discovery or History Channels.
